In-Person Individual Session
In-person sessions are held at my comfortable home office within the city limits of Nelson. The property is flat, easily accessible, and offers private parking. A bathroom is available for client use. Appointments are scheduled not to overlap to ensure client confidentiality. Clients may opt for a blend of in-person and online sessions.

Online Individual Session
Online counselling sessions offer time and location flexibility. They are held on Jane, a PIPEDA-compliant platform that can be easily accessed on a computer, tablet or smartphone, that ensures privacy and confidentiality. A strong WIFI signal is a must. A private space where you will not be interrupted or overheard is recommended.

M.B.T.I ® Session
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® is a personality preferences assessment that helps support your personal well-being and professional performance goals by providing you with a deeper understanding of your unique preferences on several domains. With these insights you can make more informed decisions, better communicate with others, and build stronger relationships, all based on the science of your personality preferences. Restorative Mediation Session
Restorative Mediation is a facilitated session for 2-3 participants to promote communication, understanding, and restoration when a relationship(s) has broken down or is under stress. This session has been useful for parents and older children (16+) when it has become difficult to express needs, wants, and emotions within the relationship. Younger clients experiencing challenging emotions have found this facilitated session to be a safe and supportive way to improve relations with a parent(s). Preparation prior to session is necessary. Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, kindly ensure you cancel at least 48 hours ahead or a cancellation fee equal to the amount of the full session fee will be charged. In the case of an emergency, an exception will be made.
Affordable Counselling Program
If finances are a barrier to accessing counselling services, please reach out by email for more information about this program. I offer one affordable counselling spot at all times.
Extended Health Coverage
Many extended health plans offer full or partial reimbursement of fees paid to a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check with your insurance provider to see what coverage you have. I will provide a detailed receipt upon payment for services for you to submit to your provider.
Health and Safety Guidelines
For in-office sessions, hygiene and cleaning practices will be followed according to WorkSafe standards. Masks are not mandatory.
Payment Options
Fees are set in accordance with the guidelines set by the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and include GST.
Payment is made prior to session by cash, e-transfer or online credit card payment.
